I have to say this is the best Allure cover I've seen in quite a while, although v. (pre car-crash) Testino-esque. Unfortunately I'll never be able to get on board with Chloë after hearing those rumours about her...

Re the cover, she looks more intense and mature. Not sure whather the overall effect will work for September, but this isnt bad at all.

Chloe is always styled to look way older than she is, like she is a gorgeous girl but they're selling her almost as a grown woman and that makes me a little uncomfortable.

This. And I don't like it. Whoever is in charge of her has been making her look 20+ since she was like 10. It's like she didn't even have a childhood.

I always hate when they style teen stars way more mature. I love CGM and this is nice but I wish she's styled in a more natural beauty kind of way.

In a way I do get why they style her so much older - she isn't making movies (generally) appropriate for people her own age. Movies like Kick *** etc are all aimed at a much older market so I suppose they've tried to ensure she appeals to the older demographic of women. She might technically be a teen star, but she's not not making teen things.

A 17 yr old on the cover of Allure seems whacky to me... no one who buys that mag is aspiring to look like a teenager beyond getting fillers.
